Memorial Plaque
At 11:00am on Wednesday, September 24, 2003, the Daugavpils City Council, in cooperation with the Daugavpils Museum of Regional Studies and Arts, will unveil a Memorial plaque in honor of Mark Rothko at the site where the family lived prior to emigration. The Rothko family from the United States is invited to take part in the unveiling of the Memorial.
